Well, I finished piecing the baby blanket for my newest niece but now I need to decide whether to tie or hand quilt. I've never hand quilted so I'm a tad nervous about messing it up. I think these two chicken scratch blocks are my favorites.
but then again, this bay colt is a doll...
and don't get me started on this acorn totin' squirrel

That is soooo precious. I love the little mouse and chicklet.
I vote hand-tied. Only because it reminds me of the quilts from my childhood in the 70's, so I am biased. :) Machine quilting would be a fast option too.
Whatever you choose, your niece will be so very thankful. (And probably drag it around for a good ten years!)
Oh my gosh - this turned out so cute. Where do you find your darling embroidery patterns?? I would hand tie but only because I am not a quilter. I love the fabrics you used - your work is amazing!
I had a quilt made from My Aunt Ruth with hand embroidered animals on it & it was totally precious...you far surpased my Aunt Ruth's skills...this quilt is such a treasure.....I know Bella Rose will adore it......
That is so stinkin' cute!!!!!
Where did you get your pattern?
Do you sell these?? If not, you should....when my son was born a colleague at work gave me a beautiful handmade quilt that I treasure - it is just gorgeous and one of a kind....something I can keep forever.....yours is just beautiful and so special.....
