Should I stop or not? I pondered as I passed a local thrift store. Sure, why not? Lookie what I found for a buck. Oh the possibilities...dots or stripes, perhaps silk gingham. Now I'm on the lookout for the matching girls pattern for my little. How cute matching mommy/daughter dresses.

That is such a cute pattern. I really, really like it.
That's totally cute - worth buying fro teh envelope alone I reckon. Can't wait to see how it turns out! How do you go with the sizes? All teh vintage patterns I've found seem to be for a 34 inch bust, which I haven't had since I was about 12.
Thanks Jen and Ali! I haven't made this one up yet but am hoping to after a craft show this weekend. I happen to be a plus size gal so it's very hard to find vintage patterns large enough. I have been experimenting with adjusting them. I recently adjusted the button dress from a 35" bust up to a 45". I learned a great technique from a plus size sewing book.

It has a great pattern increasing formula. It also has some great advice for sewing for your body shape. As a bonus the author is very sweet and funny. Hope that helps Ali.
